Hey guys, so I was just watching this super interesting YouTube video about how some celebrities have these totally different voices than what we’re used to hearing from them. Like, did you know that Michael Jackson sometimes used a deeper voice, possibly because of painkillers? And Lana Del Rey and Paris Hilton changed up their voices for different vibes too!

It got me thinking about how our accents and speech can change based on so many factors. Like, Taylor Swift had that country accent when she first started out. And then there’s Kim Kardashian’s daughter who was like, “Mom, why is your voice different on social media?” It’s wild!

I also found it cool yet kinda strange how Bella Hadid and Lindsay Lohan switch up their voices depending on where they are. And remember Austin Butler trying to shake off that Elvis Presley voice after playing him in a movie? Tough stuff!

And then there’s Hilary Baldwin claiming she had a Spanish accent when she really didn’t. She later confessed she just spent time in Spain as a kid. Like, what even?

The video also talked about how our accents can be influenced by our upbringing, the media we’re exposed to, and even alcohol. It made me wonder why some celebs get praised for their accent changes while others get heat for it. I mean, we all code-switch and adapt our speech in different situations, right?

I guess the big question is, what makes an accent authentic? And in a world where everything’s so interconnected, how do we even define authenticity when it comes to speech? Super thought-provoking stuff!

Anyway, I’d love to know your thoughts on this whole accents and celebs thing. Hit me up in the comments!Watch video on YouTube
